Project Manager and Network Analyst representing the ALLINK Operations Coordinator, an Integrated Network Management application designed by NYNEX. In-depth experience in network design and optimization as well as experience in data and voice communications systems design and implementation. Duties include:

Proposals and client presentations; Software installation and file configuration; Vendor liaison and evaluation including financial analysis; System cutover management, including User training; User of Ingres Relational Database (QBF/SQL) and VI Editor as well as Nexpert Artificial Intelligence application, IC-pak graphics and icon packages; Protocols/Interfaces: bisynch, SNA, TCP/IP, SNMP - generic and client specific, Intergraph, ASCII interfaces, RS-232, RJ-45; LANS/WANS: Ethernet, Pathworks.

Site surveys; cabling, network configuration; User needs analysis and database design.

Knowledge of element manager hardware and management applications: T1 - Timeplex/TimeView and ONX; Modem - Netcon 70, list 7, 8 and 9/MegaView, Infinet, DCS; SNA - Network; X.25 - SmartView/UX and SmartView/UA; Wang LANS/WANS - Wang DMF; Prime - Prime SNA/TelNet; IBM - System 38; Environmental Monitor - RTUS Environmental monitor; DEC - Intergraph NetMap; Protocol Manager - General Network Sniffer - Distributed System, Watchdog; Ethernet/Token Ring - Synoptics, LattisNet Ver. 4.0; Extensive analysis, parsing and creation of alarm/event filter definitions and profiles of raw messages, ASCII and hex data streams from element management applications for the purpose of integration with ALLINK; Programming of vendor specific diagnostics and commanding lex, yacc and UNIX.

Managed the implementation of ALLINK at the New York City Transit Authority to assist in their move from JAY Street to One Livingston Plaza as well as at New York Telephone, NatWest US and UK, UNITEL.
